Privacy Policy

weekbase.app is a scheduling tool for class organizers and their members. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short and specific rather than exhaustive and vague.

Who is responsible

weekbase.app is operated by Prodily Software, which is the data controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us at [email protected] for any privacy question or request.

What we collect

Account details you give us: your name, email address, and — if you choose to add one — a contact phone number. If you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. If you set a display alias, we store that too.

How you use the service: the classes you organize or belong to, the sessions you book or cancel, per-member settings your organizer sets (weekly limits, subscription reminders, private notes), and your language preference.

Technical records: we log requests and significant events (sign-ins, bookings, failures) together with your IP address and browser user-agent, so we can debug problems and detect abuse. We also store a copy of every transactional email we send you.

Messages you send us: if you use the contact form, we receive your message along with your email address so we can reply.

Why we use it

To run the service: authenticate you, show your schedule, take bookings, and let organizers manage their classes.

To contact you about your account: email verification, password resets, and — if you enable them — push notifications about bookings and schedule changes.

To keep the service working and safe: diagnosing errors, preventing abuse, and rate-limiting.

We do not sell your data and we do not profile you for marketing. We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site, and we run advertising measurement so we can tell whether ads we pay for brought someone here.

Legal basis

We process your account and booking data because it is necessary to provide the service you asked for (contract). We process logs and security records on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the service reliable and free of abuse. Push notifications are sent only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in your browser or device settings.

Who else sees it

Other people on the service: your class organizer can see your name (or alias), your bookings, and any contact phone you saved. Other members can see the display name or alias of who else is attending a session.

Providers that operate parts of the service on our behalf: Zoho (ZeptoMail) sends our transactional email, OneSignal delivers push notifications, Google provides sign-in and, for classes with an address, geocoding. We also load Google Analytics to measure how the site is used, and a shown.io tag to measure advertising performance; depending on how that tag is configured it may load measurement tags from Google, Meta, Bing or X. Our servers and database are hosted in the EU.

We do not share your data with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Your account data is kept while your account exists. If you delete your account, we delete your profile, memberships and bookings. Technical logs and sent-email records are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting, and are deleted on a rolling basis.

Your rights

If you are in the EU/EEA you have the right to access a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Most of this you can do yourself from your profile page — the rest you can ask us for at [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

Cookies and local storage

We use browser storage for things the service cannot work without: your sign-in token, your language choice, and a few interface preferences. Production also loads Google Analytics and a shown.io measurement tag, which can set third-party cookies. You can block those in your browser settings.

Children

weekbase.app is intended for adults booking and running classes. We do not knowingly create accounts for children under 16. If you believe a child has an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data we will update this page and move the date at the top. Material changes will also be announced in the app.
