Each age group and level is its own class

Make a class for the youngest dancers, one for each ballet level and one for adult beginners. Each has its own weekly timetable, a number of places for every session, and its own invite link and QR code, so students see only the classes they joined. A student who takes two classes can join both from one link.

The school year has breaks, and the timetable follows them

Enter Christmas, Easter or the summer break once, for every class or only some. Regular sessions on those days are off, anyone who had booked one is told, and the weekly timetable carries on the day after. If you want a catch-up class during a break, you can add one on any holiday day.

Students book what they pay for

If the monthly fee covers two lessons a week, give the class a weekly limit of two, and weekbase checks it on every booking. Change it for one student whose plan is different. Set each student’s renewal day, and weekbase reminds them the day before it is due; or count the lessons they have paid for, and each booking uses one. The money itself stays between you and your students.

Questions people ask

Can a new student try a week first?

Yes. Send them a one-week link for the classes you choose. They book that week like any other student, and their access ends by itself after Sunday. If they stay, you make them an ongoing member in one tap.

Can my assistant teacher take attendance?

Yes. Invite them with the class’s team code, which is separate from the link your students use. They see the schedule from the start. Switch on “See attendee names” and “Run the session”, and they can see who is booked, mark who came, cancel a no-show and book someone in at the door. Every other permission stays off until you switch it on.

Do students need to install an app?

No. They open your invite link or scan the QR code, sign up and book in the browser, on any phone or computer. They can add weekbase to their home screen, but nothing comes from an app store.

What if a student can’t make it?

They cancel the booking themselves, any time before the session starts, and the place opens up for someone else. If you set a cancellation cutoff, cancelling later than that still counts toward their weekly limit.

What does weekbase cost a dance school?

Nothing. Every class, every student and every booking is free, with no trial that runs out and no card to enter. weekbase does not take or process your students’ payments, so it takes no cut of them.
