Each style is its own class
Make a class for morning flow, one for evening yin and one for Saturday beginners, each with its own weekly sessions and number of places. A student who comes to two of them joins both from one link, and each class keeps its own weekly limit. Put each teacher on the sessions they teach, and students see who is teaching when they open a session.
Room for visitors and regulars
Someone in town for one week does not need a membership. Send them a one-week link for the classes you choose: they book that week like everyone else, and their access ends by itself after Sunday. Add regulars who would like to try other classes to your Open Pass group. Every Sunday at 18:00, or on the day and at the time you choose, weekbase lets them book the next week’s open places in the classes you pick.
The timetable pauses for retreats and summer breaks
Enter the days the studio is closed once, for every class or only some. Sessions on those days are off, students who had booked are told, and those bookings do not count toward their weekly limit. The timetable starts again the day after. If you still teach one session during a break, add it as a one-off on that day.
Questions people ask
Can each teacher see who is coming to their sessions?
Yes. Invite them with the class’s team code, which is separate from your students’ link. They see the schedule from the start, and on days they teach they get a morning email listing their sessions. Switch on “See attendee names” to show them who is booked, and “Run the session” to let them mark who came, cancel a no-show and book someone in at the door. Every other permission stays off until you switch it on.
How do I tell students about a change, such as a substitute teacher?
Pin a notice to the classes it concerns. It can show on chosen days, for a period, or until you unpin it, and it appears at the top of your students’ schedule. You can also send them a notification when you post it.
Can students cancel a class they booked?
Yes, on their own, any time before the session starts, and the place opens up for someone else. If you set a cancellation cutoff, a cancellation after it still counts toward their weekly limit.
Can visitors use weekbase in their own language?
